Athany is live on Google Play

Alhamdulillah — Athany by Beckah is now on Google Play. What began as an invite-only beta among a few masjid communities is now one tap away for every Android phone: get Athany on Google Play.

What Athany does

Athany was built around a simple idea: your phone should help you pray, not distract you from it.

• The live athan, from your masjid. When your masjid broadcasts, you hear the real voice of your muathin — at home, at work, wherever you are.
• Prayer times that actually wake you. Alerts ring as true alarms, cutting through deep sleep and Do Not Disturb — so Fajr is never missed.
• Auto-silence at the masjid. Walk in for prayer and your phone quiets itself; it restores when you leave.
• Masjid streaks. Visits are counted automatically when you pray at the masjid — a gentle motivator that adds up.
• Qibla compass, masjid guide, and TV displays. Find the direction of prayer, find masjids through reviews written by Muslims for Muslims — women's area, wudu facilities, sisters' entrance — and give your masjid a beautiful prayer screen for its TVs.
• Suhur & Fajr wake-ups, tuned for Ramadan and all year round.
