Beckah Foundation · Janazah Care

When someone passes, you are not alone

From the first hour to the burial and the days after, Beckah Foundation walks with families through an Islamic funeral — reporting and coordination, washing and shrouding, the funeral prayer, kafan and supplies at a fair price, consultation with imams and scholars nearby, and referrals to trusted local services.

Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.

Qur'an 2:156 — إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Reporting opens Janazat, our funeral-coordination service. For anything urgent, call us any time.

In the first hours

The sunnah is to hasten the burial. These are the steps — we can help with each one.

  1. 1 · Report & coordinate

Report the passing so a coordinator can guide the family and contact the masjid and, where needed, the medical examiner or funeral home.

  2. 2 · Ghusl (washing)

The body is washed according to the sunnah by trained brothers or sisters, matched to the same gender as the deceased.

  3. 3 · Kafan (shrouding)

The deceased is shrouded in clean white cloth. We can provide a complete kafan set quickly and at a fair price.

  4. 4 · Salatul Janazah

The funeral prayer is prayed in congregation at the masjid. We help arrange the imam and the time.

  5. 5 · Burial

Burial in a Muslim cemetery, facing the qiblah, without unnecessary delay. We help with referrals to cemeteries and services near you.

How we help

Reporting & coordination

One report notifies the team through Janazat, so the family has one calm point of contact instead of a dozen calls.

Preparation (ghusl & kafan)

Trained, gender-matched volunteers for washing and shrouding, following the sunnah with dignity and privacy.

Salatul Janazah

Arranging the funeral prayer with a local imam and masjid, and letting the community know so they can attend.

Kafan & supplies

Complete kafan sets and burial needs — provided quickly and at a fair, reasonable price, never a profit on grief.

Imam & scholar consultation

After the burial: sitting with imams and mashayikh nearby for grief support, and for questions of inheritance (mirath) and what the family should do next.

Local referrals

When professional services are needed, we refer you to trusted, Muslim-friendly funeral homes, cemeteries, and providers near you.

Kafan & burial supplies

Everything needed to shroud and bury according to the sunnah — kept simple, dignified, and affordable. Beckah provides these at a fair price; no family is turned away for cost.

A complete kafan set is $79.99. Other supplies are kept at or near cost — tell us what you need and we'll confirm availability and price right away. And if cost is a hardship, we cover it.

After the janazah — you're still not alone

Grief does not end at the graveside. We connect families with imams and mashayikh nearby for comfort and du'a, and for the practical questions that follow — the fiqh of inheritance, condolences (ta'ziyah), and caring for the family in the days after.
