Take a Book, Give a Book

A community book exchange that keeps beneficial Islamic knowledge circulating freely.

Who it serves
Local communities, masjids, and new Muslims
Impact
Hundreds of books rehomed into the hands of readers who need them

Knowledge should never sit idle on a shelf. Take a Book, Give a Book is a simple, joyful exchange: donate a book you've finished, take one you'd like to read. Beneficial works — Quran, seerah, fiqh, and gentle introductions to Islam — keep moving through the community instead of gathering dust.

How it works

  • Drop off books you no longer need
  • Browse and take what benefits you, free of charge
  • Surplus stock is shared with masjids, prisons, and new Muslims

Why it matters

For many reverts and seekers, a single well-chosen book is a first door into the deen. This program keeps that door open for everyone, at no cost — funded entirely by the generosity of the community.

Support helps us restock sought-after titles and deliver books where they're needed most.
