The Prophet ﷺ said that when a person dies, their deeds end — except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them.
Teaching the Quran sits at the heart of two of these.
Knowledge that multiplies
When a student learns to recite correctly, the benefit doesn't stop with them. They will pray with that recitation for the rest of their life. They may teach their own children. Those children may teach others. A single act of support ripples outward across generations — Sadaqah Jariyah, charity that keeps giving.
